Hatchets drop North Knox

WASHINGTON — Jacob Overton scored 15 points and Austin Moody 12 as Washington's boys eighth grade basketball team defeated North Knox, 57-35.

Max Lancaster added six points for Washington (10-2), Chase Clymer scored five, Matthew Stephens, Reid Neff and Donovan Langdon four each, Logan Allen, Logan Bateman and Austin Fox two each and Ben Lambert one.

Vikings defeat Washington

Barr-Reeve defeated Washington in a pair of fifth and sixth grade boys basketball games.

Barr-Reeve won the sixth grade game, 35-27.

Tristan Graber scored 11 points for Barr-Reeve. Gage Wilson scored eight, Ross Knepp six, Isaac Wagler four and Keshon Wittmer and Quention Yoder three each.

Barrr-Reeve won the fifth grade game, 32-18.

Jacob Wagler scored nine points for Barr-Reeve, Keegan O¹Neil  and Mitchell Kavanaugh seven each, Caleb Graber three and Kaden Boyd, Jeremiah Graber and Conner Heller two each.

Hatchet girls  win pair

Washington defeated Washington Catholic in a pair of fifth and sixth grade girls games.

The Hatchets won the sixth grade game, 34-12.

Jenna Gray scored nine points for Washington, Lindsay Moody scored eight, Katie Elliott and Kenzie Lunsford four each, Lindsay Barnes three and Raeanna Theine, Madilyn Dant and Lawren Sandullo two each.

Emilt Fields scored 10 points for Washington Catholic and Chloe Bryant scored two.

Washington won the fifth grade game, 40-0.
