Washington was led in serving by Adriana Fidler with two aces, Arnold with two blocks and seven kills, Terry with six kills and Jordan Carr with 20 assists.
"We told our outside hitters, that they have to fight, so our middle hitter is not our only option and I think we did that tonight," said Hand.
Sullender, Carr and Terry led with seven digs each, while Fidler and Arnold had six each, followed by Carrico with five digs.
"We made a huge jump from last year. I told them that we need to keep this going in the off season. Every time you get a chance to get around a ball do it. We are going to have to keep lifting weights, working out and playing club volleyball," Hand added. "We can't lose our focus. We have to focus on that sectional win. We hate to lose our seniors, but have a good core of juniors coming back.
It was the final game for seniors Carrico, Fidler and Miriam Ibarra.
The sectional final will take place at 7 p.m. on Saturday.
