VINCENNES — Logan James hit two home runs and drove home eight as Barr-Reeve defeated Blue Chip Conference foe South Knox, 19-2, in five innings Tuesday.
The Vikings (11-4) scored 15 runs in the opening two innings to put the game away.
A 10-run first inning was followed by five more in the second as the Vikings broke a two-game losing streak.
Brandon Wagler had two doubles and Logan Lengacher one in the 14-hit Viking attack.
Barr-Reeve played errorless baseball while South Knox was charged with four miscues.
Wagler had four RBIs for Barr-Reeve, Heath Graber and Cain Miller had two apiece while Addison Wagler and Adam Graber recorded one each.
Wagler pitched the opening four innings to earn the win. He was relieved by Trevor Yoder in the fifth.
