---- — Volleyball camp begins July 29

The Washington Volleyball Camp begins July 29 and continues through August 2 at the Washington High School gym.

The camp is for incoming third graders through freshmen. The cost is $25.

Sessions will be held daily from 8:45 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. for third and fourth graders. Sessions for fifth and sixth graders are from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.

Seventh through ninth graders will meet from 11:45 p.m. until 1:15 p.m.

Forms can be turned in on the day of the first camp, but campers will not be guaranteed a T-shirt. Forms can be obtained at Old National Bank Eastside.

Checks should be made to the WHS Volleyball Club, and mailed to Linda Taylor, 2591 W Old U.S. Hwy 50, Washington, 47501. For additional information contact Alicia Clarke Hand.

Cougar youth football

ELNORA - Registration for the North Daviess Youth Football Camp is Aug. 1 from noon until 7 p.m. at the North North Daviess Elementary School.

Knepp records ace

MONTGOMERY - Kenny Knepp, Montgomery, recently aced the 141-yard 14th hole at the Country Oaks Golf Club, using a 9-iron.
