SULLIVAN — The North Daviess boys golf team defeated North Central Monday afternoon at the Sullivan Elks Country Club behind medalist Brian Lawyer’s 44. Tucker Fisher shot a 48, Austen Byrer finished with a 49, Brady Helms shot a 53, Trent Bowman had a 54, Austin Graber shot a 56 and Cole Roark shot a 59. The Cougars play Friday night in the Loogootee Invitational and Saturday in the SWIAC Conference Meet.

Barr-Reeve places 2nd

VINCENNES — The Barr-Reeve girls Jr. High track team finished second at the Blue Chip Conference Meet Friday afternoon. The Vikings were led by Natalie Graber, who grabbed three first place finishes (800, 1600 and 3200 relay) and a second in the 400m. Hannah Fuhscame in second in 300m hurdles, fourth in 100m hurdles, fourth in the 400m relay and sixth in the long jump. Rachel Wilson joined Graber in grabbing a first place finish in the 3200m relay. Wilson grabbed two third place finishes in the high jump and 1600m and a fourth place finish in the 800m.
