BLOOMFIELD — The Barr-Reeve baseball team split a pair of games recently. The Vikings blasted Boomfield 12-1 on Tuesday but lost to Southridge, 7-1 on Monday.
Barr-Reeve scored all 12 runs in the final three innings, including home runs from Addison Wagler and Lucas Graber. The Vikings pounded out 13 hits in the game, while Graber went all six innings to get the win, giving up just three hits and striking out eight.
Wagler drove in five runs, while Trevor Yoder scored three times and Adam Graber picked up three hits.
The Vikings lost to Southridge on Monday in seven innings, 7-1. Barr-Reeve scored first in the top of the first inning, the Raiders then scored in five of the next six innings to take the win.
Connor Swartzentruber took the loss, giving up four earned runs in four innings, while Colton Graber gave up three runs in relief. Swartzentruber, Clay Cummings and Addison Wagler all had hits.
