Big Buck Contest

The 4th Annual Barr-Reeve Big Buck Contest deadline is coming up soon. Over the last couple of years there has been a tremendous turnout for the contest. In the first three years of the competition we’ve had over 200 participants take to the woods in hopes of bagging a big buck with the ultimate prize of a free head mount. Also, we’ve had a lot of donations made by area outfitters to use in the raffle drawing. Hunters that sign up to participate will automatically be entered into the raffle prize drawing. The last couple of years we’ve had 10-15 prizes raffled off per contest. We have two division for the Big Buck winners, a bow division and a gun division. Our 2013 winner are yet to be determined, but a person can’t win if they don’t enter. If anyone is interested in participation you can contact Nathan Lester at or 812-486-8094.
