ELNORA — Defending champion Barr-Reeve meets Clay City on Dec. 23 in the opening round of the eighth annual Graber Post Classic as announced by tournament officials Thursday.
The Vikings and Eels are playing the third game of the opening day of the annual basketball event.
Orleans and South Knox open the tournament at 3 p.m., with Brownstown Central and Southridge playing at 4:30 p.m.
The Vikings and Eels follow at 6 p.m., with North Daviess playing North Posey to conclude the opening day at 7:30 p.m.
The field enters the tournament with a combined 133-48 record from this past season. Graber Post sponsors the event held at North Daviess High School.
Barr-Reeve, Clay City, Brownstown Central and Orleans enter the tournament as class sectional champions. Southridge makes its first tournament appearance.
The tournament continues with consolation and semifinal rounds beginning at
3 p.m. and ending with a 7:30 p.m. game Dec. 27.
The final round follows the same time schedule with the championship game set for 7:30 p.m. Dec. 28.
