DUBOIS — The Washington volleyball team lost to Northeast Dubois in three straight games (17-25, 17-25, 20-25) Monday evening. Megan Arnold and Lindsay Carrico had 2 aces each. Arnold added 8 kills and 3 blocks. Araina Fidler had 7 digs and Emily Sullender and Lauren Terry had 5 each. Jordan Carr had 19 assists and 13 digs.

Loogootee wins 2 at Invitational

JASPER — The Loogootee volleyball team went 2-2 Saturday at the Jasper Invitational by defeating Sullivan (25-13, 25-12) and Evansville Harrison (25-10, 25-9), but lost to Castle (23-25, 19-25) and Evansville Memorial (6-25, 17-25). The Lions were led by Michala Beasley with 37 kills. Demi Richardson had 90 assists and Kailye Robbins had 23 service points.

Cardinals beat Owen Valley

The Washington Catholic girls soccer team defeated Owen Valley 10-0 Monday evening led by Elizabeth Perkins’ 6 goals. Olivia Williams, Vibeke Salmeli, Allyson West and Avery Sullivan added goals. Gracen Jarrett, Claire Jarrett, Macy Kane, Morgan Smith, Lauren Mathies and Perkins had assists.

Cardinals take down Wood Memorial

The Washington boys soccer team defeated Wood Memorial 4-0 Monday night. Junior Blaine Fuhs scored all 4 Cardinals goals. Brody Wilson had 2 assists and AJ Sellers and James Brown had 1 assist apiece. Jon Mitchell had 5 saves in goal.
