The Washington volleyball team lost to Boonville in three straight games (13-25, 16-25, 14-25) Tuesday evening. Jordan Carr had 18 assists, Megan Arnold had 9 kills and Emily Sullender had 2 aces. Lyndsey Carrico had 10 digs. The junior varsity lost 22-25, 24-26.

Lions beat Springs Valley

LOOGOOTEE — The Loogootee volleyball team (21-4) defeated Springs Valley in three straight games (25-23, 25-21, 25-20) Tuesday evening. Michala Beasley had 15 kills, and Christina Ziegler had 12. Demi Richardson added 32 assists and 15 service points, Kailye Robbins had 15 digs and Waylee Wagoner added 12.

Cougars beat North Central

FARMERSBURG — The North Daviess volleyball team defeated North Central in three straight games (25-15, 25-22, 25-16). Jessical Miller had 8 kills, 1 ace, 2 blocks and 6 digs. Taylor Jeffers had 8 kills and 17 digs. Chandra Bruner had 7 kills, 2 blocks and 12 digs. Madison Reed had 7 kills, 5 aces, 20 assists and 2 digs. Mordan Wadsworth had 2 kills, 1 block and 14 digs.

Hole in One at Country Oaks

MONTGOMERY — Roman Graber of Odon hit a hole-in-one on Thursday at Country Oaks on 121-yard 2nd hole. The shot was witnessed by Malin Wittmer and Kennett Knepp.
