MT. CARMEL — The Washington volleyball defeated Mt. Carmel Thursday night in four straight games (27-29, 25-9, 25-18, 25-20). Megan Arnold had 23 kills, Emily Sullender had 15 kills and 14 digs and Jordan Carr had 33 assists. The Washington junior varsity won 25-15, 23-25, 15-3.

Cardinals lose to Rivet

The Washington Catholic volleyball team lost in three straight games to Vincennes Rivet (16-25, 16-25, 10-25). Mary Anne Wichman had 4 service points, 2 blocks, 7 digs, 1 assist and 2 kills. Rachel May added 2 digs, 2 blocks, 1 assist and 6 kills. Maria Concellon had 5 service points, 3 aces and 5 assists. Sarah Wild added 1 dig, 1 block, 4 assists and 5 kills.

Cougars defeat WRV

ELNORA — The North Daviess volleyball team defeated White River Valley in four games (14-25, 25-19, 28-26, 25-13) Thursday night. Taylor Jeffers had 11 kills, 5 aces and 3 blocks. Jessica Miller had 9 kills, 4 blocks, 1 assist and 28 digs. Madison Reed had 6 kills, 2 aces, 17 assists and 24 digs. Chandra Bruner had 6 kills and 12 digs.
