Gerald and Iris “Nadine” Tarvin will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. June 14 at the Arnold F. Habig Community Center, 1301 St. Charles St., Jasper.
Mr. and Mrs. Tarvin were married June 5, 1949, in Linton.
They are the parents of Dennis (Patti) Tarvin of Radcliff, Ky., Kaye (Dennis) Harper of Paxton, Ill., Barbara (Dennis Schingeck) Morgan of Vincennes, and Doug (Cathy) Tarvin of Jasper.
They have five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Mrs. Tarvin is the former Nadine Cannon, daughter of the late Delbert and Eloise Cannon.
Mr. Tarvin is the son of the late Norvel and Helen Tarvin.
They reside at 11812 U.S. 231N, Loogootee. It is requested gifts be omitted.
