The Kanes will celebrate their 40th anniversary on Sunday.
Jim and Phyllis (PK) Kane, 273E 675N, Washington, were married at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on June 14, 1969. Their ceremony was officiated by Rev. Kenneth Betz.
Their attendants were Dennis Eaton and Sylvia Sparks Lawhead.
They are the parents of two sons, Nathan and wife Carmen of Plainville and Galen and wife Sarah of Ellicott City, Md. They have four grandchildren.
