Jennifer Elaine Allen and Adam Clay Edwards announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Damon Allen of Elnora and Marlene Allen of Bloomfield and the granddaughter of Mary Edith Geiger of Greenwood and Mennie Allen of Plainville. She is a 2003 graduate of North Daviess High School and earned a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University in 2007 in agricultural systems management. She is currently employed with Monsanto in Lebanon.

The future bridegroom is the son of Joseph and Arvana Edwards of Clay City. He is the grandson of John and Alta Edwards of Clay City and Don and Marlene Wegner of Brazil. He is a 2001 graduate of the Indiana Academy, Muncie, and earned a bachelor’s degree in 2005 from Purdue University in agricultural systems management. He is employed with Ceres Solutions, New Lebanon.

The couple will exchange vows at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 6 at Odon United Methodist Church. A reception will be at 5:30 p.m. at the Martin County Community Building, Loogootee. Invitations have been sent, but all friends and family are invited.
