Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Powell of Washington and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Fox of Shelbyville announce the upcoming marriage of their children, Melissa Lee Dickson and David Edward Fox.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Washington High School and is a senior at Indiana State University. She is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in elementary education with a minor in Spanish.

The future bridegroom is a graduate of Shelbyville High School. He is a senior at Indiana State University and is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in music education.

The couple will exchange vows at 4 p.m. Dec. 20 at Bethel United Methodist Church, North Campus. Following the wedding a reception will be held at the Washington Conservation Club. All family and friends are invited.
