Officers are required to train for two hours on the Emergency Vehicle Operating Course at least once a year. This training took place at Washington's Gwaltney Sports Complex.
Barr-Reeve Lady Vikings' ended the volleyball season at the State Finals on Saturday in Muncie, where they lost to Marquette Central Catholic. The Vikings were able to take Game 1, but lost the next three to the Warriors.
The United Way of Daviess County began its annual campaign with a successful Day of Caring service day Tuesday. After the 22 United Way agencies submitted their work needs, the United Way distributed the work to the volunteers, local company employees, townspeople and students. The Promise opened in its 10th year in Washington on Tuesday. More than 150 cast and crew help tell the story of Jesus, his life on earth and death on the cross.
