Published May 18, 2008 03:50 pm - Darius Malachi Jennings, 3, of Washington, died Wednesday at Riley Childrens Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born Nov. 17, 2004, in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was the son of Darrel Jennings and Brandi Fields.

Darius Malachi Jennings, 3, of Washington, died Wednesday at Riley Childrens Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born Nov. 17, 2004, in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was the son of Darrel Jennings and Brandi Fields.

He and his family attended Temple Baptist Church.

He is survived by his parents, Brandi Fields and Darrel Jennings, both of Washington; one brother, Darrel Jennings Jr. of Washington; grandparents, Monica and John Parsons of Washington, Douglas Fields of Washington, and Carolyn and Ted Taborn of Vincennes; and great-grandparents, Eula Jennings of Kalamazoo, Mich., Ruth Moten of Danville, Ill., and James Lonigo of Chicago, Ill.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Dennis Jennings, and his great-grandfather Moten.

The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Gill Chapel, with Rev. Jim Russell officiating.

Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m Tuesday and after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
