---- — WICHITA, Kan. — James Donald Parker, 86, passed away Sunday in Wichita.
Born Nov. 11, 1926, in Pike County, he was the son of James Franklin and Laura V. (Thomas ) Parker.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
He is survived by three daughters, Stephanie Marie Soto of Wichita, Bille K. Young of Beaver Dam, Wis., and Laura Dawn Holt of Belington, Wis.; four sons, Mark Anthony Parker of Port Orchard, Wash., Kevin Thomas Parker and James Dean Parker, both of Alcorn, Wis., and Kevin Ray Young of Belington; and one brother Richard Parker of Fox Lake, Ill.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Judith Ann Kleiman.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Ed Lee Mortuary, with Yvonne Evans officiating. Burial will be in Bethany Cemetery, with military graveside rites by the Washington American Legion and V.F.W.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
