SALEM — Deborah Renae Stewart, 44, formerly of Loogootee, died at 9:39 a.m. Saturday at Washington County Hospital in Salem. Born March 16, 1969, in Daviess County, she was the daughter of Robert Randall and Alice Juanita (Gibson) Osborne. She was a 1982 graduate of Barr-Reeve High School and a member of Mt. Hebron Christian Church in Scottsburg. Deborah loved animals and she and her fiance Don had a small farm. She is survived by her mother, Alice Juanita Street of Loogootee; her father, Robert Randall Osborne of Owensburg; her fiance, Don Wilson of Salem; one sister, Tammy Ritchey of Loogootee; three stepbrothers, Marty Street of Jasper, Carl Street of Celestine, and Andrew Osborne of Owensburg; one stepsister, Emily Osborne of Owensburg; and the mother of her fiance, Mary Wilson of Salem. She is preceded in death by one son, Jacob Joseph Stewart; paternal grandparents, James “Bud” and Elloise (Penny) Osborne; and maternal grandparents, Noah and Mary Gibson. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Brocksmith-Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee. Burial will follow at a later date. Visitation is after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
