BLOOMINGTON — Linda D. Jenson, 66, died unexpectedly Jan. 13 at I.U. Health, Bloomington Hospital. Born May 10, 1947, in Rockport, she was the daughter of William “Bill” and Mae (Weatherholt) Carlisle. She retired as a medical office manager. She received an associate’s degree in medical technology from the Institute of Medical Technology in Minneapolis, Minn. She loved gardening, traveling, Jimmy Buffett concerts, animals and sharing her love with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Ron Jenson of Bloomington; her son Mike (Ann Francis) Jenson of Nashville, Ind.; her two daughters, Becky (Chuck) Rose of Bloomington, and Debby (Brian) Nauta of Avon; and her six grandchildren, Lizzy, Drew, Max, Ava, Lyla and Molly. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Celebration of Life was held at 4 p.m. Jan. 16 at Day Funeral Home Chapel in Bloomington. The family received friends following the service at the funeral home.
