---- — SEYMOUR — Jean Ilene Davis, 76, passed away Thursday at Schneck Medical Center.
Born May 2, 1937, in Dunellen, N.J., she was the daughter of Arthur A. and Carrie (Madouse) Krapf. On Dec. 22, 1957, she married Jimmy J. Davis who preceded her in death March 27, 2009.
Mrs. Davis was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. She retired as business manager at Englishton Park Retirement Home after 22 years of service. Jean was a Kentucky Colonel and enjoyed traveling. Her greatest enjoyment was her family.
She is survived by her children Jeffrey B. (Angie) Davis, Jami M. (Jeff) Wehrkamp, Jason S. (Michelle) Davis; grandchildren Jarrod Wehrkamp, Ashley (Ret) Taylor, Grant and Emily Davis, Zeranda, Sidney and Shyann Davis; two great-granddaughters, Adalynn and Addison; sister Gladys (David) Thomas; sisters-in-law Pat Krapf, Melodye (Byron) Nagel, Ruth Krapf; brother-in-law Douglas (Felicia) Davis; niece Betty Ann Eaton; and several other nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 51 years; brothers Arthur Krapf, Thomas Krapf, Harry Krapf; and sisters Kathryn Scanion and Evelyn Krapf.
A memorial service will be held at Redeemer Lutheran Church at 11 a.m. Monday with Rev. Andrew Currao officiating. A mausoleum encryptment will be at Riverview Cemetery.
Family and friends may call at Voss Chapel from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday and after 10 a.m. Monday at the church.
