---- — Nancy Jean (Harris) Arflack, 68, of Washington, passed away Feb. 19, 2014, at Daviess Community Hospital.
Nancy was born Aug. 30, 1945, in Norfolk, Va., the daughter of Harold D. and Pauline (Doty) Harris. She was a CNA for various nursing homes and had been a student teacher. Nancy was an avid Pacer’s and Hoosier’s fan and loved bingo.
Nancy is survived by her son, Doug Smith of Shelburn; daughters, Mary Hardin Houston and her husband Jamie of Brownsburg, and April Fannin and her husband Tony of Smyrna, Tenn.; grandchildren, Drew Abshier, Taylor Fannin, Mikyla Houston and Tyler Houston.
She is preceded in death by her parents; companion Roy Foreman; one son, Bryan Smith; and one sister.
The family will receive friends from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday at Sugarland Memory Gardens. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday also at the cemetery and burial will follow. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
