---- — Freida Imogene Traylor, 84, of Washington, died at 1:35 a.m. Sunday at Prairie Village.
Born Aug. 25, 1929, in Sullivan, she was the daughter of Bruce Cameron and Julia (McFarland) Thompson.
She attended Washington High School and was a homemaker and member of Trinity Tabernacle.
She is survived by one son, Jack (Rebecca) Traylor; four grandchildren, Misty Roby, Scott Traylor, Shelly Gaither and Tony Potts; five great-grandchildren, Riley and Jacob Traylor, Aiden Roby, Allison and Sydney Gaither;a brother, Robert “Bob” Thompson; and a sister, Sally Baker.
Her husband, Delmar Traylor, whom she married April 4, 1948, died Dec. 10, 1986. Two brothers, Brayton Thompson and Chinie Thompson; two sisters, Fay Thompson and Wanda Veale; two daughters, Gloria Jean Sawyer and infant Donna Traylor; and one son, Delmar Lee Traylor, are also deceased.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Tabernacle,with Rev. Chad Hunting officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the church.
