Funerals

TERRY SUTTON — The funeral for Terry W. Sutton was at 1 p.m. Saturday at Truelove United Methodist Church south of Loogootee, with Pastor Michelle Qualkenbush officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers were Toby Fitch, Troy Fitch, Corey Van Meter, Jordon Van Meter, Bruce Fithian and Matt Murray. Honorary pallbearer was Dan Fitch.

JOHN DANT — A Mass of Christian Burial for John W. Dant was celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Martin Catholic Church in Whitfield, with Rev. Joseph Erbacher as celebrant and Revs. Leo Kiesel and J. Kenneth Walker as con-celebrants. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers were Brian Dant, Johnathan Dant, Nick Dant, Tim Bauer, Ryan Dant, Dylan Dant, Jordan Dant and Kurt Bauer.

LARRY CALLISON — The funeral for Larry B. Callison was at 11 a.m. Monday at Gill Funeral Home, with Rev. Bob Tipton officiating. Burial was in Plainville Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Brian Wesner, Justin Killion, Ryan Cooksey, John Simmons, Michael Callison and Jay Smith.

JAMES WAMPLER — The funeral for James E. Wampler was at 10 a.m. Friday at Gill Funeral Home, with Rev. Timothy Baxter officiating. Burial was in Sugarland Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers were Mike McKeown, Larry Lucas, Ron Newton, John Little, Bob Cornelius and Gordon Hochmeister.

MARJORIE MORTON — The funeral for Marjorie J. “Peg” Morton was at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Harris Funeral Home, with Bro. Fred Denton officiating. Burial was in Walnut Hills Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Joe Carroll, Nikalous Jansen, Ryan Bottoms, Tyler Gross, Sean Gross and Jason Bottoms.

JOHN GENTRY — The funeral for John B. Gentry was at 11 a.m. Monday at Harris Funeral Home, with Rev. Jeremiah Evans and Mike Elliott officiating. Burial was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Oatsville.

Pallbearers were John Gentry, Richard Wheeler, Brian Foster, Shawn Penrod, Nicholas Gentry and Adam Gentry. Honorary pallbearers were Brandon Gentry, Danny Wheeler, Matt Foster and Chris Gentry.
