---- — Wanda G. Forbes, 73, of Washington, passed away at 9:15 p.m. Friday at Eastgate Manor Nursing Home.
Born March 28, 1940, in Decker, she was the daughter of Howard L. and Rowena (William) Nash.
She was a past member of the Washington American Legion Auxiliary and the V.F.W. Auxiliary.
She is survived by two sons, Howard (Pam) Craft of Wheatland, and Harry (Brenda) Craft of Florida; three daughters, Gay (Bobby) Emmons and Shawnae Morris, both of Washington, and Cindy Hess of Tennessee; one sister, Donna (Bud) Curry of Tennessee; one brother, Loren Nash of Washington; 19 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Willie Forbes, whom she married Aug. 4, 1977, died Oct. 13, 2002. Her parents are also deceased.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Ed Lee Mortuary, with Rev. Danny Gilley officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
