PLAINFIELD — Donald E. Doyle, 72, passed away Monday
He was born May 22, 1941, in Washington, to the late Andrew and Ester Norris Doyle.
Don worked for General Motors for 43 years retiring in 2005 as a supervisor in master mechanics and machine repair. He was a member of St. Susanna Catholic Church, where a funeral mass will be held Friday at 10 a.m. with Fr. Glenn O’ Connor officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Nancy Kidwell Doyle; daughters, Cathy (Tom) Clark and Cheri (Mark) Driskell; sisters, Sue Showalter, Jean Strange and Dosia Mangin; grandchildren, Amber Doyle-Pethel, Alex Clark, Ashley Doyle, Victoria Driskell and Brendon Clark; daughter-in-law, Aimee Doyle; and sister-in-law, Paula Doyle; brother-in-law, Tom Dages. Don was preceded in death by his son, Craig Doyle; grandson, D.C. Driskell; brothers, Dick and Charles Doyle; and sister, Rosie Dages.
