ODON — Francis G. Webster, 68, died at 6:10 a.m. Thursday at his home. Born Sept. 25, 1944, in Odon, he was the son of Glen and Ruby (Smith) Webster. He was a 1962 graduate of Odon High School and a member of the Second Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Odon. He was also a member of the Odon Indiana Masonic Lodge No. 303. He was a coal superintendent for Foerstch Construction Company. He was also a farmer and had previously done heavy equipment excavating. Francis enjoyed motorcycles, horses, woodworking and spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Kay (Swango) Webster, whom he married May 13, 1986; two sons, Bill and wife Christina Webster and Chris and wife Lisa Webster, all of Odon; one brother, Max and wife Mary Webster of Odon; one sister, Freida and husband Carl Tarvin of Odon; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandson. He is preceded in death by his parents. One daughter, Pamela Pruett, died July 5, 2011. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Simon J. Graber Complex in Odon. Burial will be in Walnut Hills Cemetery in Odon. Visitation is from 4 p.m. Friday until the hour of service Saturday at the Simon J. Graber Complex. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of choice. Arrangements are being made through Brocksmith-Blake and Wagler Funeral Home in Montgomery.
