WHEATLAND — Margie Marie Scott, 83, passed away 6 a.m. Tuesday at her residence.

She was born Nov. 2, 1930, in Olney, Ill., to Bryan C. and Eva (Bullard) Hill

A member of the Wheatland Christian Church, Margie had worked at Gimbel Bond and Dejongs as a professional sales clerk. Her hobbies included sewing, crocheting, and gardening. She loved reading her Bible, tools, and her kitty cats.

Surviving is a her daughter, Deborah Scott of Wheatland; a son, Bruce E. Scott of Wheatland; her brothers and sisters, John (Ruth) Hill of Arthur, Ill., Robert (Dixie) Hill of Carmel, Jerry (Rosella) Hill of Winslow, Larry Hill of Washington, and Carolyn Hill of Petersburg; a brother-in-law, Ronald Junkin of Ragsdale; her grandchildren, Lee Scott, Eric Scott, Anna Marie Scott, Stephanie Lynn Vandercamp, Jonathan Bruce Scott, Ryan Keith Scott, and David Allen Scott; and a great-grandson, Nathan Scott.

Margie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lyle E. Scott; a son, Gordon Lee Scott; and a sister, Jackie Junkin.

Funeral services for Margie will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Goodwin Funeral Home with Brent Cramer officiating. Burial will follow in the Wheatland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.goodwinfamilyfh.com
