VINCENNES — Roy C. Fisher, 82, passed away Saturday at Good Samaritan Hospital. Born Jan. 13, 1931, in Lawrence County, Ill., he was the son of Willard and Martha (Timms) Fisher. Along with his parents, he was preceded by his first wife, Darlene (Whitson) Fisher; his third wife, Margaret (Black) Fisher; a sister, Mary Jane Brown; and his brothers, Carl, Herman and Lyman. Roy was a truck driver and a member of the Vincennes V.F.W. Survivors include his second wife, Dorothy Dean of Olney, Ill.; children, James (Ona) Fisher of Fishers, Karen (Robert) McBride of Plainville, and Linda (Jeff) Davis of Fort Meyers, Fla.; a brother, Thomas (Lois) Fisher of Vincennes; and his grandchildren, Max Fisher, Zac Fisher, Ross McBride, Greg McBride and Samantha Davis. A graveside service will be held Friday 1 p.m. EDT, at Price Cemetery in Russellville, Ill. Friends and family may gather at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and follow in procession to the cemetery at 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project, P.O.
