Brandon Wagler

LOOGOOTEE — Brandon Kyle Wagler, 18, died Sunday morning in an automobile accident in Daviess County.

Born Jan. 17, 1995, in Washington, he was the son of Randy and Marla (Stoll) Wagler.

He was a 2013 graduate of Barr-Reeve High School and was attending University of Southern Indiana in Evansville where he was majoring in accounting. Brandon enjoyed playing sports and was an avid Cardinals and Colts fan. He was a member of First Mennonite Church in Montgomery.

He is survived by his parents, Randy and Marla (Stoll) Wagler; two sisters, Megan Wagler and Maranda Wagler, both at home; one brother, Jacob Wagler at home; his maternal grandparents, Louis and Dorothy Stoll of Loogootee; his paternal grandparents, Elmer and Sylvia Wagler of Loogootee; his paternal great-grandmother, Martha Wagler of Loogootee; his paternal great-grandfather, Abraham Knepp of Montgomery; along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.

His paternal grandmother, Carolyn (Knepp) Wagler, died Aug. 4, 1999.

The funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at First Mennonite Church in Montgomery. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation is from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at the church.
