---- — WICHITA, Kan. — James Donald Parker, 86, passed away Sunday in Wichita.
Born Nov. 11, 1926, in Pike County, he was the son of James Franklin and Laura V. (Thomas ) Parker.
He was a 1945 graduate of Montgomery High School and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
He is survived by three daughters, Stephanie Marie Soto of Wichita, Billie K. Young of Beaver Dam, Wis., and Laura Dawn Holt of Pell Lake, Wis.; four sons, Mark Anthony Parker of Port Orchard, Wash., Kevin Thomas Parker, James Dean Parker and Kevin Ray Young, all of Elkhorn, Wis.; and one brother Richard Parker of Fox Lake, Ill.; 16 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Judith Ann Kleiman.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Ed Lee Mortuary, with Yvonne Evans officiating. Burial will be in Bethany Cemetery, with military graveside rites by the Washington American Legion and V.F.W.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
