CLAYTON — William A. “Tony” Bowling, 69, died Wednesday at his home.
He was born Sept. 3, 1944 in Loogootee to James H. and Orvilla (Strawn) Bowling. Tony was a U.S. Army veteran and worked as a relay tech for Cinergy for 24 years.
He is survived by his wife Rita (Perigo) Bowling, one son; Brian Anthony Bowling, two brothers; Mark and Kevin Bowling, two sisters; Connie Hall and Vicki Marchino, and a grandson, William Anthony Bowling, Jr.
Tony was preceded in death by his mother and one son, Bobby J. Bowling.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at Brocksmith-Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee. Funeral services will follow at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be in St. John Catholic Cemetery in Loogootee. There will be military rites conducted by the American Legion and VFW.
