WASHINGTON — Mary E. Hindman 93, of Washington. passed away Thursday, April 4, at Prairie Village Nursing and Rehab.

Born Dec. 29, 1919 in Westphalia, she was the daughter of Fred and Esther (Due) Stremming.

She married Marion Harlen Hindman on Dec. 11, 1943. Mary was a homemaker and a member of the Southwind Wesleyan Church.

Surviving are daughters Sue (Jerry) Harbsteit of Washington, Betty Hindman Dame of Evansville, Jane Wierman of Sadinaw, Mich., grandson Aaron Harbstreit, granddaughters Janice Williams and Chrissy (Nathan) Wininger all of Washington, great gandchildren Colton Williams and Isabelle Wininger of Washington, brothers Harley Stremming, Kenneth Stremming, and sister Gladys Boling.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother, Richard Stremming. 

Services will be held at 10:30 am Wednesday at Gill Chapel with Rev. Phil Kessen officiating. Friends may call from 4 to 7p.m. Tuesday and prior to the services Wednesday.
