GREENWOOD — Mary A. Klemaszewski, 92, formerly of Washington, passed away Thursday at University Heights Rehabilitation Center in Indianapolis.
She was born July 21, 1921, in Bedford, to George and Anna (Bramble) Riester.
Survivors include two sons, Don (Joanna) Purdue of Bargersville and Lars (Connie) Purdue of Washington; five grandchildren, Chris (Ken) Dyar, Kelly Moore, Jeff (Julie) Purdue, Aaron (Erin) Purdue and Nick (Sarah) Purdue; a sister, Lela Summers; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands Nicholas Purdue, Ray Peden and Dominick Klemaszewski; sister and brother-in-law Beatrice and Art Larson; brother and sister-in-law Preston and Virginia Riester; and brother-in-law, Hugh Summers.
Rev. Francis Kalapura will conduct a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of the Greenwood Catholic Church in Greenwood. Friends may call Monday from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the church. A private burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery in Washington.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Our Lady of the Greenwood Catholic Church, 335 S. Meridian Street, Greenwood, Indiana 46143.
