Imogene Richardson

WASHINGTON — Imogene Richardson, 88, of Washington, died at 9:32 p.m. Saturday at Washington Nursing Center. Born Sept. 21, 1924, in New Harmony, she was the daughter of George and Helen (Fisher) Jacobs. She was a 1942 graduate of Mt. Carmel High School. She had owned and operated her own beauty shop for a number of years before retirement. She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis E. and Carol Richardson of Valparaiso, Thomas O. and Jennie Richardson of Washington, and Keith A. and Mary Richardson of Longmont, Colo.; and six grandchildren. Her husband, Aubrey M. Richardson, whom she married Feb. 18, 1947, died Sept. 1, 1992. A graveside service will be held at 11:20 a.m. Wednesday at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens in West Lafayette.
