---- — Richard P. Hamm Sr., 69, of Washington, passed away Jan. 7 at his residence.

Born Jan. 28, 1944, in Washington, he was the son of William Sr. and Louise (Summers) Hamm.

He was a retired truck driver from Griffins Industries.

He is survived by two daughters, Melissa L. (Kirk) Shake of Washington, and April L. (Charles) Hamilton of Linton; three sons, Carl R. Hamm of Linton, Richard P. Hamm Jr. and Patrick L. Hamm, both of Lyons; two brothers, Billy Joe Hamm Jr. and Bob Hamm, both of Washington; grandchildren, Sierra S. Keller, Mackenzie R. Harris, and Graci L. Hamm; and one great-grandchild, Dexter J. Masters.

He is preceded in death by his parents; one grandson, Alexander L. Keller; and one brother, Jack Hamm.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday at Ed Lee Mortuary.

Visitation is after 5 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
