WASHINGTON —

Charles C. "Pee Wee" Conley, 69, of Washington, passed away at 2:30 a.m. Sunday at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.

Born June 25, 1944, in Washington, he was the son of William and Wilma (Wilkerson) Conley.

He was retired from the city of Washington.

He is survived by his lifelong companion, Doris Lemon of Washington; stepdaughter, Kathy (Harold) Merryman of Plainville; one granddaughter, Jenny Wilson of Washington; two brothers, Frank (Janet) Conley and Bill Conley, both of Washington; and one sister, Elizabeth James of Washington.

He is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Donald Conley, Bernie Conley and Jake Conley; and three sisters, Thelma Foster, Ann Conley and Josephine Hooten.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Ed Lee Mortuary, with Rev. James Payton officiating. Burial will be in Sugarland Memory Gardens.

Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
