---- — LOOGOOTEE — Austyn Kyel Erwin-Yoder, 18, died Monday in Loogootee.

Born Nov. 16, 1994, in Loogootee, he was the son of Chad and Jennifer (Yoder) Erwin.

He attended Bethany Christian Church in Washington and enjoyed music, watching Colts football and being outdoors.

He is survived by his mother, Jennifer Yoder of Loogootee; his father and stepmother, Chad and Jennifer Erwin of Jasper; his maternal grandparents, Ray and LeAnna (Yoder) Yoder of Loogootee and Karen Chojnacki of Elkhart; six half brothers, Ethan, Jeremiah and Kenan Erwin, all of Jasper, Jociah, Tanner and Devyn Earl, all of Loogootee; two half sisters, Lydia Erwin of Jasper, and Jazmyn Yoder of Loogootee; and one niece, Aubry Yoder of Loogootee.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ralph and Beatrice Erwin.

The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Maranatha Tabernacle in Loogootee. Burial will be in Goodwill Cemetery in Loogootee.

Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Brocksmith-Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee and from 9 a.m. until the hour of service Friday at the church.
