---- — Jack D. Barnes Jr., 64, of Washington, died at 2 a.m. Friday at his home.
Born July 25, 1949, in Vincennes, he was the son of Ruth (Grubb) and Jack Barnes Sr.
He was a member of the Montgomery Christian Church and was a retired truck driver. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Elsie (Wagler) Barnes, whom he married Sept. 2, 1967; one son, Donnie Barnes of Washington; one brother, Bobby and his wife Billie Barnes of Gosport; one sister, Lorraine and his wife Jerry Ridgley of Pleasantville, Tenn.; and one grandson, Ryan Downs of Washington.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Brocksmith-Blake and Wagler Funeral Home in Montgomery. Burial will be in Sugarland Memory Gardens.
Visitation is from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
