---- — LEXINGTON, Ky. — Roberta “Bobbie Jo” Street, 47, formerly of Loogootee, died Saturday at her home in Lexington.

Born Oct. 25, 1965, in Martin County, she was the daughter of Robert L. and Virginia C. (Hough) Street.

She was a graduate of Loogootee High School, Vincennes University and University of Southern Indiana in Evansville. She lived in Evansville before moving to Lexington where she worked for Ashland Inc. and Wide Open West. She was an animal lover and had two dogs she loved dearly, Lola and Merlin.

She is survived by her companion, Steve Green of Lexington; one nephew, Elliott Michael Street; two uncles, Phillip and wife Virginia Street, and Harold and wife Lila Street, all of Loogootee; four aunts, Sue Hembree, Vickie and husband Dave Qualkenbush, all of Loogootee, Ruth and husband Gary Meyer of Jasper, Sandra and husband Bobby Bleemel of French Lick.

She is preceded in death by her mother on Nov. 23, 2003; her father on Oct. 14, 2009; and her brother, Chris M. Street on Oct. 17, 2009.

The body was cremated and graveside service with Pastor Debbie Davis officiating will be in Mount Zion Church Cemetery in Rutherford Township at a later date.
