    We are disappointed in the reaction of Washington’s school board president to questions concerning the lack of media notice for Thursday’s meeting. A reporter’s presence at a meeting is often the only way the public has of learning what elected officials are doing and how tax dollars are being spent. The public’s right to know is why the law was written.
