The Blue Chip Conference has released all-conference teams in boys tennis, boys soccer, and boys cross country following the 2009 seasons.
In tennis, Northeast Dubois was the conference champion with a 5-0 mark, followed by Barr-Reeve (4-1), Vincennes Rivet (3-2), Loogootee (2-3), Wood Memorial (1-4), and Washington Catholic (0-5).
Members of the all-conference team included Kyle Haas, Graham Giesler, Zach Neukam, Tyler Armstrong, and Jon Baglan of Northeast Dubois; Dalton Robbins and Kendall Vieke of Rivet; Christian Duncheon and Brandon Graber of Barr-Reeve; and Jordan Arvin of Loogootee.
In soccer, Northeast Dubois was conference champion with a 6-0-0 record, followed by Washington Catholic (5-1-0), Wood Memorial (3-2-1), North Knox (2-3-1), Vincennes Rivet (2-4-0), South Knox (2-4-0), and Shoals (0-6-0).
The all-conference team included Jacob Dorsey, Austin Schultheis, Sage Tuell, and Tyler Schepers of Dubois; Austin Deem, Luke Mitchell, Matt Stuart, and Austin Jarrett of Washington Catholic; David Low and Kyle Pflug of Wood Memorial; Chris Sargent and Brolin Summers of North Knox; Adam Bylinka and Adam Elkins of South Knox; and Nick Beasley of Shoals.
Honorable mention recognition went to Blake Schultheis of Dubois; Chris McCain of Washington Catholic; Carlos Lopez of Wood Memorial; Mathew Julian and Clay Cullen of North Knox; Jordan Brasseur and Jashin Patel of Rivet; and Lance Holscher of South Knox.
In cross country, the conference meet was held at the Gasthof in Montgomery on Oct. 10, with Barr-Reeve winning with 36 points, followed by Dubois (63), South Knox (75), Rivet (87), North Knox (91), Shoals (156), and Loogootee (165).
The meet winner was Josh Genet of Dubois.
All-conference honors went to (in order of finish) Genet, Connor Surrells (B-R), Nathan Westfall (VR), Zach Rawles (NK), Jarek Page (SK), Nick Cornelius (B-R), Damon Pruett (B-R), Colin Vieke (VR), Jeremy Huebner (B-R), Wes Knies (NED), and Geoff Taylor (B-R).
