Published April 28, 2008 10:36 am - Sarah Diane Graber, daughter of Perry and Diane Graber of Loogootee, and Ryan Joseph Knepp, son of Virgil and Barbara Knepp of Montgomery, were united in marriage May 5, 2007.

Sarah Diane Graber, daughter of Perry and Diane Graber of Loogootee, and Ryan Joseph Knepp, son of Virgil and Barbara Knepp of Montgomery, were united in marriage May 5, 2007.

The ceremony took place at Berea Church, with Shawn Otto officiating.

The miniature bride was Hannah Graber, daughter of the couple.

The matrons of honor were Victoria McCloskey, sister of the bride, and Jamie Gross, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Ida Graber, Jamie Knepp, Ashly Erler, Jessica Davis and Andrea Huff.

Rodney Knepp and Scott Knepp, brothers of the bridegroom, served as the best men, while groomsmen were Darrin Wilcher, Adam Traylor, Ryan Pendowski, Chris Killion and Jeremy Knepp. Matthew Graber, Garrett Gingerich, Lincoln Knepp and Joe Finnie served as ushers.

Pianist was Eve Knepp. Personal attendants were Jennifer Jerger and Audrey Stoll. Guest book attendants were Stacy Mathias and Kristin Fiabane. Bridgitte Knepp and Megan Knepp served as guest greeters. Cake attendants were Deb Bratton, Venita Gingerich and Phyllis Yoder.

A reception was held at The Montgomery Ruritan Building.

The bride is the granddaughter of Lydia Swartzentruber and the late John Swartzentruber and the late Ervin and Martha Graber. She is a graduate of Loogootee High School and a Vincennes University graduate with an associate’s degree in science. She is employed by Daviess Community Hospital obstetrical department as a registered nurse.

The bridegroom is the grandson of Wilma Spaulding and the late Jack Spaulding and Abraham Knepp and the late Sylvia Knepp. He is a graduate of Barr-Reeve High School and a Vincennes University graduate with an associate’s degree in science. He is currently employed by SAIC at Crane Naval Base.

During the ceremony, candles were burning in loving memory of the late grandparents and Sarah J. Bowling Fuhrman, a dear friend of the couple.

After a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple resides at 723S 450E, Montgomery.

Out-of-state guests were from Michigan, Kentucky, Florida, New York, Illinois, Arizona, Virginia and Minnesota.
