Holiday cheer

Washington Times-Herald

WASHINGTON — The Salvation Army began the season of bell ringing and kettle filling outside of Walmart on Friday morning. All donations from the kettle filling go to local charities. Kicking off the bell ringing was Washington Mayor Joe Wellman (left), along with Washington Junior High Beta Club members, Kaitlyn Davis and Emily Taylor, while Pete Occhialini makes the first donation of the season.  Mint Barber is the Kettle Coordinator and can be reached at 698-2128, if one is interested in volunteering.
