6:18 p.m. — A man reported his son’s mailbox was missing from his property on Akester Road and a black truck was parked where the mailbox used to be. An officer spoke to the owner of the truck, who was working for the railroad, and told him the property owner didn’t want him parking on the property.
10:33 a.m. — A woman was on station to report the theft of her checkbook and debit card in Cannelburg. It was reported to her bank, and an offense report will be made.
10:08 a.m. — A male caller reported a foreign-sounding man called and told him his computer was crashing and he needed to install a program right away to keep it from happening. He asked for the man’s credit card number and then asked him to wire money to India. An officer advised the caller this was a scam and to cancel his credit card.
9:11 a.m. — A subject came to the security center to report nails thrown into the intersection of CR 125E and Sundance Drive. An officer explained the subject’s options.
7:22 a.m. — A house fire was reported at 1467N 100W. Washington Township Fire Department responded and was on the scene until 8:36 a.m.
6:05 p.m. — A male caller reported when he arrived home at 8671S 1125E he found two of vehicles had been vandalized.
8 a.m. — A female was on station to report finding a lot of nails strewn in the road near her driveway again. She was advised deputies would provide extra patrol and there would be an investigation.
Jeremy A. Kellams, 32, Winslow, was arrested Thursday by state police on a warrant for petition to revoke suspended sentence. He was held at Daviess County Security Center on $100,000 bond.
Cynthia Mize, 58, Washington, was arrested Wednesday by city police on a warrant for petition to revoke suspended sentence. She was held on $10,000 bond.
Karen Parker, 48, Freelandville, was arrested by city police for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and OVWI involving endangerment. She was held on $4,000 bond.
