11:58 a.m. — Mark Brothers, 311 N.E. 19th St., reported his green, four-door 1999 Honda Accord was stolen. He told officers it was locked.
10:21 a.m. — An employee of Shell Mart, 201 N.E. Fifth St., reported the drive-off theft of $21.02 in gas by a male and female in a white Jeep Liberty that left through the alley.
1:50 a.m. — A male caller reported two male subjects looking in vehicles with flashlights on E. Walnut St. and descriptions were given. Officers spoke to two subjects in the area and advised them to move along. At 2 a.m. Dispatch received a similar call from a man on Maxwell Avenue who advised someone was looking in his truck with a flashlight.
4:07 p.m. — Regina Martin advised her son’s moped helmet was stolen while he was in school. She said the moped was parked at Seventh and VanTrees streets, and she saw the helmet on the ground by the moped at 2 p.m. When her son got out of school at 3:15 p.m., the helmet was gone. It’s green and black with a scorpion on it.
3:33 p.m. — A caller advised it appeared someone had tried to break into her house at 824 Third St. in Plainville, but it didn’t appear as if anything had been taken. An offense report was made.
6:55 a.m. — Nicholas W. Durnil reported hitting a deer at 1239E 400S. A field report was made.
Alan Marshall, 42, Washington, was arrested Tuesday by city police for being a habitual traffic offender. He was held at the Daviess County Security Center without bond.
