A Washington woman has been sentenced to three years of community corrections after she pleaded guilty to one count of child molesting.
Adrianne Wininger was sentenced Monday in Daviess Superior Court to nine years in the Indiana Department of Corrections with six years executed and three years suspended.
Charges against Wininger stem from an incident that happened in November of 2017 when a female contacted police about a 19-year-old female having contact with her 14-year-old son.
Wininger later admitted to police that she had engaged in sexual relations with the victim before his 14th birthday.
In addition to three years in community corrections, Wininger, who is now 21, is also ordered by Daviess Superior Court Judge Dean Sobecki to register as a sex offender, continue psychological treatment and have no contact with the victim.
