FOOD SERVICE PROVIDERS

RE: Food Service Needs for KCARC for the period of September 1, 2007 through August 31, 2008.

KCARC is seeking bids for food service at the baker center.

The successful vendor will assure the following:

• It has facilities to prepare the meals that are the subject of this bid.

• It will maintain Federal, State or Local Certification for the facility in which it prepares the meals which are the subject of this bid.

• All food services meet health and sanitation requirements set forth by Food Service Sanitation Requirements (410 IAC 7-15.1).

• Monthly menus will be provided to each location’s dietary manager not less than two weeks prior to the start of the month and that substitutions to these menus will be made as deemed necessary and directed by KCARC staff to meet the dietary needs of individuals. Approximate or average calories of meals or snacks for diabetics provided to dietary manager.

• Meals will be delivered at the times and locations specified in the final agreement.

Bids must be received by 4:00 p.m. July 27, 2007, at the KCARC Administration Office, 2525 N. Sixth St., Vincennes, IN. Bids received after this time will not be accepted and will be returned to the Bidder unopened. The bid opening will be July 30, 2007, 9:30 a.m. in the KCARC Administration Office (a closed meeting).

The contract will be awarded to the most responsive and responsible bidder with the lowest prices.

Bid Specifications can be picked up at the KCARC Administration Office, 2525 N. Sixth St., Vincennes, IN.
