Jacksons celebrate 66 years of marriage

John and Patricia Jackson celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary on Valentine’s Day.

The couple met in Rural Youth, which is similar to today’s 4-H Club and were married at Bethel Church outside of Freelandville.

They have three children, Susan, Jeff and Bob and many grandchildren.

The couple say the key to their many years of marriage was keeping up with their family, faith and farming.

They were honored with a luncheon Friday, Feb. 12, at The Villages at Oak Ridge where they reside.
