The town councils have been set for Elnora, Plainville and Odon.

Elnora Clerk-Treasurer Heather Davis was unopposed this year. Charlotte J. Bell, Susan Carpenter, incumbent Jesse Emmons and Dave Fleming all challenged for the three seats on the town council. After all the votes were tallied it was Bell, Emmons and Carpenter earning the seats. Bell earned 61 votes, while Emmons had 62 and Carpenter had 66.

In Odon, Mandy Fuqua-Wilz, was unopposed for the clerk-treasurer’s seat. She replaces Beth Haseman who chose not to run for re-election.

Billy Burns, Delbert Gingerich, incumbent Vernon Graber, Susie Roach, B.J. Sanders and Macy Wilson all hoped to join Doug Benjamin on the town council. Roach and Sanders prevailed. Roach earned 191 votes, while Sanders had 143.

Angie Shake was unopposed for clerk-treasurer, but Lee Coffman, Bryan Liston, Kevin Shake, Ed Smith and Kelly Stedman all wanted to grab or retain seats on the town council. In the end, it was Shake, Smith and Coffman.

There were no candidates on the ballot for Montgomery’s town council and Cindy Smith was the only candidate up for the clerk-treasurer’s position.
